What’s special about the BLI Shop the Look?

Our shop is a portal for to-the-trade pieces, shipped directly to you from the manufacturer! Typically to-the-trade pieces are purchased exclusively by trade professionals (i.e. interior designers). We are thrilled to offer trade furniture and décor on our website to anyone, not just clients!

Who is Side Door?

SideDoor is our partner that secures and fulfills your order, and handles our logistics and customer service. Not only do we partner with them for our shop, but we also exclusively use SideDoor to fulfill trade orders for client projects. SideDoor customer support can be contacted for any questions or concerns about delivery and/or damages.

What is the return/cancellation policy?

We are not able to take returns, cancellations, or exchanges, as trade-only items are shipped directly from the manufacturer. All sales are final unless product(s) is damaged in transit. Upon request, we are happy to provide tear sheets, additional high resolution images, and upholstery samples to give you 100% confidence in your purchase! Inspect all items immediately upon delivery. If a product is damaged, take photographs of the packaging and product and contact SideDoor customer service. The SideDoor team will arrange for a repair, or for the manufacturer to send a new piece(s).

How will I know when my items ship?

You will receive e-mail communication from SideDoor regarding the progress of your order, when pieces ship, and tracking information. Most furniture is handled via a local freight carrier. The freight carrier will call you when your furniture is ready for delivery to schedule a delivery date.

What are the delivery options?

Threshold delivery is included in our pricing! Furniture will be delivered ‘To Your Door / Threshold’. You may instruct the delivery personnel as to whether you would like your delivery placed immediately inside your home, or left on your doorstep.
Threshold delivery does not include placing products in specific rooms, assembly, or removal of original packaging. If you require or prefer ‘White Glove’ delivery, it will be available as an option at checkout for an additional charge. ‘White Glove’ delivery includes packaging removal, light assembly, and placement. We recommend upgrading to White Glove service for any large furniture items.

How does pricing work?

Prices are never above any applicable internet minimum advertised price ‘IMAP’ (set by the manufacturer). Keep in mind BLI Home prices include threshold shipping, while other retailers add shipping and handling at checkout. When you shop BLI via SideDoor, you are supporting our small business and the interior design industry, rather than a big-box retailer. Thank you!

Virtual Design Terms of Service and Agreement

  • Virtual Design Services are non-refundable
  • Design work will only begin upon receipt of payment, signed Client Design Agreement, and completed questionnaire.
  • For 2D and 3D Custom Room Design Packages, you are aware that you have 10 business days post initial design delivery for unlimited revisions with our designer.
  • For 2D and 3D Custom Room Design Packages, purchasing your design package will put you into the queue. Turn around times for initial design delivery vary, but average around 1-2 weeks.
  • For Designer by Your Side Services and 1 Hour Video Consults and Rendering packages,, purchasing your design package will put you into the queue. We will contact you in regards to setting up your call or Zoom. Turn around time for initial call or Zoom varies, but on average is around 1-2 weeks.
  • Correspondence will occur through our online design portal or e-mail. Phone calls and Zoom meetings are for our 1 Hour Video Collaborations and Designer by Your Side Clients.
  • Recommendations made via our Virtual Design Services are purely conceptual. All recommendations are meant to be used solely as suggestions to enhance the look and feel of the space and are not intended to be used for construction guidelines or engineering purposes. If construction will take place, you are advised to retain advice from a licensed contractor/engineer.
  • All renderings, vision boards, floor plans are conceptual in nature and are intended to set forth design intent. They are not to be used for architectural or engineering purposes. They are not permit ready.
  • Virtual Design Services shall not include the undertaking for the design or modification of the design of any structural, heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and other mechanical systems installed or to be installed at the project.
  • BLI Interiors is not responsible for means, methods, or procedures of construction, fabrication, delivery, and installation, or safety precautions in connection with the execution of the design package, for the acts or omissions of the contractor or any subcontractor, supplier, or other persons performing the work on the virtual design package.
  • BLI cannot be responsible for arranging repairs, replacement or freight claims for purchases made in conjunction with recommendation in the virtual design project.
  • BLI may recommend retail products and to the trade products as well. To the trade vendors typically do not take returns unless an item is damaged. If they do allow returns, a restocking fee may be necessary, to be paid by the client. Retailers typically take returns without a restocking fee.
  • BLI will not make purchases for clients, but may include a shopping list for clients to purchase on their own.
  • BLI cannot guarantee the prices or long term availability of products recommended.
  • BLI reserves the right to use product deliverables in websites, blogs, or other marketing efforts. Names and locations of clients will not be used.
